Frequently asked Questions

Why did my shoes arrive in 3 days when I paid for next day air?. Depending on which company is shipping the item and the time of year it can take up to 3 business days for you order to be processed.  We do try to accomodate rush orders to the best of our ability.  Remember when you pay for rush shipping that isn't rush service.

Why didn't I get a tracking number? We try to give tracking numbers when possible.  If the company that is shipping your shoes gives us one we will pass it on.  If you must have a tracking number please send an e-mail requesting one and we will try to honor your request.

My item said in stock but I got an email saying it was backordered or unavailable why? The companies are not linked directly to our website.  We must presume they are in stock until we actually call in your order and are told otherwise.

How do I send back a pair of shoes?

All returns must be sent back to The Shoe Factory, 792 Cranes Hollow Rd, Amsterdam  NY  12010.

Please do not tape on boxes and all returns must be resaleable.  You will be charged 5.00 if the boxes are damaged because that is what we are assesed.  You will be credited for the shoes less shipping charges.

You may ship with the carrier of your choice including the post office.
